[In the left margin] Joseph Williams Will In the Name of God Amen the Sixth Day February one thousand Seven hundred fifty two I Joseph Williamson of Southampton County Do make this my present Testament declaring my Last Will in manner and form following that is to say First and principally above all Earthly things I Commit my Soul &c &c Item: I give unto my two Sons that is to say Absolom Williamson and William Williamson the Plantation where I know Llive and all the Land thereunto belonging to be Equally Divided between my two Sons I Give the said Plantation and Land to my two Sons and their Heirs forever I also Give my Said Sons five Cows and Calves to each of them I also give my Son Absolom one bed and furniture to him and his heirs I give to my Son W.m Williamson one bed and furniture to him and his heirs ----------------------------------- Item: I give to my Son Borwell Williamson one bed and furniture and five Cows and Calves and one Mare to him and his heirs forever - Item: I give to my Loving wife Hanna Williamson the use and Labour of one negro man Slave Named Dick Dureing [sic] her Life or widow =hood and after the Death, or my wife marry I Give the the said negro manSlave [sic] Named Dick to my Sons Absolom and my Sons William Williamson and their heirs forever ---------------------- Item: I give all the Rest of my Estate to be Equally Divided between my wife and Daughters that is to say Aavirilla Elizabeth Silviah Ann and Mary and to their forever and my Will and Desire is that my two Brothers Shall Devide it Equally be tween them Share and Share alike that is to say Arthur Williamson and Benjamin Williamson And Lastly I do hereby make and Ordain my Loving wife Hanna Wmson and my Son Borwell Williamson my full and Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby Revoke and make Void all former and other Wills by me heretofore made or Spoken of and do Establish this to be my Last Will and Testament Witness my Hand and affix my Seal the Day first above written ~ ~ Test Thos Williamson Joseph Williamson /Ls/ Burwell Williamson Continues on Page 120 At a Court held for the County of Southampton on Thursday the 10 Day of May 1753.
